Here is an assessment that my teacher and myself made. It looks like an ordinary worksheet, but it was actually a really fun scavenger hunt activity, which made a routine class period where the students just worked on a worksheet at their desks much more enjoyable.
First, the students had to solve the problems at their desk.
Then, they had to go out and find their answers that were posted all around the school.
The students (and my CT and I) really enjoyed this activity, because it gave us a break from doing worksheets at the desk all the time, and threw an interesting spin into our routine. There were a few bugs that come naturally with trying a new style of assessment, but overall it was an extremely positive experience.
